Kumasi on Standstill as About 5000 People Join Kofi Job’s Mega Prayer for President Mahama
The Ashanti Regional Capital, Kumasi, was abuzz with over 5,000 Ghanaians who gathered at the Kumasi Jubilee Park to pray for President John Dramani Mahama and his appointees.
The event, a three-day prayer festival organized by the Kofi Job Foundation, was dedicated to committing the president and Ghana into the hands of God.
The event’s first day saw the distribution of over 7,000 Ghana flags to attendees, setting a patriotic tone for the prayer session.
Leading the prayer was Elder Dr. Bismark Amoah, Founder and Leader of Bohye Prayer and Revival Center, who drew inspiration from Proverbs 29:2, emphasizing the importance of righteous leadership.
“Praying for our leaders is crucial, and as a nation, we must come together to seek God’s guidance and protection,” Elder Amoah said.
He prayed for the president’s success, saying, “We pray that God guides and protects the president, enabling him to lead Ghana on the right path, and that his appointees will thrive, making Ghana better for all.”
The event was marked by powerful worship sessions led by renowned gospel musicians, including Diana Hamilton and Elder Mireku.
