Kofi Job Foundation Donates GHC300,000 to Support 5 Cancer Patients, Other Needy Individuals
The Founders of the Kofi Job Foundation, Mr Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife, Dr Esther Okyere Gyebi, have donated 300,000 cedis to support five cancer patients and other individuals in need of financial assistance for medical care.
Among the beneficiaries are a 6-year-old boy who required 15,000 cedis for a prosthetic leg, a 60-year-old Endometrial Cancer patient who needed 25,000 cedis for treatment, a 7-year-old girl suffering from Leukemia who required 80,000 cedis for treatment, and a young boy who needed 70,000 cedis to complete his Leukemia treatment.
Others who needed financial support for wheelchairs and medicines also received assistance.
The Public Relations Officer for the Kofi Job Foundation, Mr Kwame Agyenim Boateng, handed the money to doctors treating the patients on Friday, December 5, 2025.
Speaking on behalf of the founders, Mr Kofi Gyebi Job and Wife Dr Esther Okyere Gyebi, Agyenim Boateng said the support followed the submission of medical reports by the beneficiaries during the foundation’s three-day prayer festival for Ghana.
He noted that officials of the foundation and medical doctors reviewed the documents before approving the assistance.
Agyenim Boateng urged the patients to make themselves available for treatment when called upon by their doctors.
He expressed gratitude to Mr Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife for their generosity and kindness to those in need.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the patients, a pediatrician at the Kumasi South Hospital, Dr Alima, said the support came at a critical time for the patients.
She noted that the assistance would enable timely treatment for children suffering from various types of cancer.
Dr Alima thanked Mr Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife for saving the lives of these individuals.
