Kofi Job Foundation Donates GH₵100K Worth of Medical Equipment to Tafo Government Hospital

In a continued demonstration of its commitment to improving healthcare in Ghana, the Kofi Job Foundation has donated medical equipment valued at approximately GH₵100,000 to the Tafo Government Hospital in the Ashanti Region.

The donation, which includes critical machines to support neonatal and general patient care, was made on behalf of the foundation’s founders, Mr. Kofi Job and Dr. Esther Gyebi, by Kwame Agyenim Boateng, a journalist with OTEC 102.9 FM Kumasi and Acting Public Relations Officer for the foundation.

The state-of-the-art equipment presented to the hospital includes:

  • Phototherapy Machine – for treating jaundice in newborns
  • C-PAP Machines – for respiratory support
  • Vein Finders – to assist medical staff in locating veins during procedures
  • Suction Machines – for clearing airways and surgical fields

The medical team at Tafo Government Hospital expressed their gratitude for the donation, noting that the equipment would significantly boost healthcare delivery, especially in emergency and maternal care.

According to Mr. Boateng, the donation is part of a broader healthcare support campaign by the foundation.

He highlighted that the Kofi Job Foundation recently donated GH₵1 million to assist over 250 patients across five major hospitals in the Ashanti Region.
