35-Year-Old Woman Completes GH¢100k Surgery Sponsored by Kofi Job Foundation
A 35-year-old mobile money vendor, Martha Boaduwaa, a native of Esreso in the Ashanti Region has completed a hip surgery financed by the Kofi Job Foundation.
The foundation sponsored Boaduwaa with GH¢100,000 to undergo a total hip replacement surgery, a procedure she desperately needed after being unable to walk for nearly a decade.
Due to a hip problem, Boaduwaa required six different surgeries, but financial constraints had hindered her family from completing the process.
However, the Kofi Job Foundation stepped in, paying the surgery cost instantly.
Boaduwaa expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the foundation, breaking down in tears during an interview.
She noted that she wouldn’t have been able to raise the funds on her own and expressed hope that the surgery would enable her to walk again and care for her family.
The founders of the Kofi Job Foundation, Mr. Kofi Job Gyebi and his wife, Dr. Esther Okyere Gyebi, expressed that they were deeply moved by Boaduwaa’s condition and reiterated their foundation’s commitment to supporting and protecting the vulnerable in society.
